EggWars vs Bedwars

EggWars is CubeCraft's signature mode — similar to Bedwars but you protect an egg instead of a bed. Breaking an egg eliminates respawns for that team. Generators produce iron, gold, and diamonds on tiers you upgrade.

Connect to play.cubecraft.net and select EggWars from the lobby. Maps support Solo, Doubles, Trios, and Teams.

Opening Minutes Walkthrough

The first two minutes set your generator tier advantage.

  1. Upgrade iron generator first

Tier 1 iron gen before armor. Faster iron = faster gold = faster diamond upgrades. Most new players buy armor too early.

  2. Assign rush or defend

In teams, one player rushes nearest egg with blocks and a pickaxe. Others upgrade generators and gather gold.

  3. Break egg and fall back

After egg break, do not over-chase. Return to upgrade your own generators before pushing eliminated teams.

Generator Upgrade Order

Generator tiers compound — this order wins most CubeCraft EggWars games.

  1. Iron gen Tier 2–3

Max iron output before touching gold gen. Iron buys blocks, swords, and pickaxes in bulk.

  2. Gold gen Tier 1–2

Gold buys armor, better swords, and team upgrades. Upgrade after iron is stable.

  3. Diamond gen when safe

Diamond gear is expensive. Only invest when your egg is defended and you are not under rush pressure.

Protecting Your Egg

Egg defense on CubeCraft uses blocks around the egg pedestal — similar to bed layering.

  1. Glass + obsidian shell

Glass slows pickaxe breaks. Obsidian inner layer requires diamond pick — most early rushes cannot break it.

  2. Build outward, not just up

Surround the egg platform with blocks so enemies cannot drop directly onto the egg from above.

  3. Stay within 10 blocks

Defenders who wander to mid leave eggs exposed. One player should always be egg-distance during rush windows.

Mid Control and PvP

Center islands often have better generators or chest loot. Control mid after your generators are tiered.

CubeCraft uses 1.8 PvP in EggWars — strafe, W-tap, and rod techniques matter. Pearls and fireballs (if available on your map) decide team fights.

Final Eliminations

Once multiple eggs are broken, focus fire the team with the weakest gear. Do not split chasing three teams — eliminate one at a time.

Keep blocks and pearls for void fights. The last team standing often wins by knockback, not sword damage.
