FaithfulMC Factions

FaithfulMC at play.faithfulmc.com runs Factions with the Faithful resource pack for clean PvP visuals. Claim land, build bases, raid enemies, and defend against cannon attacks.

Create or join a faction with /f create or /f join. Power determines how many chunks you can claim — dying loses power.

Base Design Walkthrough

A good base survives raids; a bad base loses everything in one night.

  1. Claim enough power

Each faction member provides power for claims. Never claim more chunks than your faction's total power — overclaiming lets enemies take your land.

  2. Layer walls

Outer obsidian, inner water buffers, and box within box design. Raiders need multiple cannon shots to reach your storage.

  3. Bury valuables

Do not store everything in one chest room. Spread storage across hidden rooms with obsidian shells.

  4. Trap the entrance

Fall traps, piston traps, and choke points slow raiders. Every second of delay gives defenders time to log in.

Cannon Basics for Raiding

Factions raiding uses TNT cannons to break into enemy bases.

  1. Build a simple stacker

Start with a basic TNT cannon that stacks 2–3 TNT per shot. Practice in a test world or faction sandbox if available.

  2. Target weak points

Scan enemy claims for thin walls, unclaimed gaps, or exposed corners. Do not cannon random spots.

  3. Coordinate the raid team

Assign roles: cannon operator, material runner, PvP defender, and breach entry. Raids fail without coordination.

  4. Breach and loot fast

Once inside, grab valuables and leave. Defenders will rally — long raids attract counter-raids.

When to Raid

Timing wins raids more than cannon skill.

  1. Scout when defenders are offline

Check enemy faction member count and online status. Raid when key members are offline or during server events that distract defenders.

  2. Check power levels

If an enemy faction is low on power (recent deaths), their claims can be overclaimed. Strike during power dips.

  3. Avoid peak hours initially

New raiders should practice during off-peak. Peak hours mean full defender rosters.

Defending Against Raids

When your faction is being raided:

  1. Log in immediately

Discord alerts help. Every defender online increases cannon repair speed and PvP pressure on raiders.

  2. Repair cannon holes

Place obsidian in breach points faster than cannons fire. Water layers regenerate if designed correctly.

  3. Counter-attack the cannon

PvP players flank the cannon crew. Kill the operator or destroy the cannon frame to stop the breach.
