How Purple Prison Works

Purple Prison is an OP prison server — you mine blocks in your rank's mine, sell for money, and rank up through letter tiers (A → Z, then Prestige). Custom enchants, gangs, and crates accelerate progression.

Connect to purpleprison.net and create a gang early for shared bonuses. Read /rules and check the Discord for current mine reset schedules and event multipliers.

Ranks A Through C

Early ranks are about efficient mining and selling — not fancy enchants yet.

   Mine the highest-value blocks

   Each rank unlocks a new mine with better ores. Focus on blocks that sell for the most per break — usually the rarest ore in your current mine tier.

   Sell smart, not fast

   Use /sellall or the shop NPC. Check if bulk selling or specific item sales give better rates. Some ranks reward holding money for interest bonuses.

   Save for your first pickaxe enchants

   Do not spend on cosmetics early. Efficiency and Fortune equivalents (custom enchant names vary) are your first purchases.

   Join or create a gang

   Gangs provide mining speed boosts, shared storage, and PvP backup. Active gangs run group mining sessions during 2x sell events.

Pickaxe Enchant Priority

Custom enchants define prison progression speed. Upgrade order matters more than grinding hours.

   Efficiency first

   Mine faster = more blocks per hour. Max efficiency before touching explosive or laser enchants.

2. 2

   Fortune / multiplier enchants

   Increase ore drops per block. These compound with sell multipliers — the best ROI after efficiency.

3. 3

   Auto-sell and magnet

   Quality-of-life enchants that auto-sell mined blocks or pull drops to inventory. Save minutes per hour that add up over long sessions.

4. 4

   Explosive / layer enchants (mid-rank)

   Break multiple blocks per swing. Expensive but essential for M+ ranks where manual mining cannot keep pace with rank costs.

Mid-Rank Grind (D through M)

Rank costs scale exponentially. This is where most players stall.

   Stack sell multipliers

   Combine gang bonuses, rank perks, potion buffs, and event multipliers. Mine during 2x sell weekends — check Discord announcements.

   AFK mine responsibly

   Some enchants allow semi-AFK mining. Follow server rules on AFK — Purple Prison may limit AFK time. Use allowed methods only.

   Flip on /ah

   Auction house flipping supplements mining income. Buy undervalued enchants and resell at market rate. Keep 20% liquid for snipes.

Prestige Preparation

Prestige resets your rank but grants permanent multipliers and exclusive mines. Do not prestige until you have maxed key enchants and banked enough for a fast re-climb.

Prestige mines offer ores impossible at base ranks — the multiplier pays back the reset time within a few days of focused grinding.

PvP Zones and Plots

Higher ranks unlock PvP zones with better loot but death penalties. Bring the best gear you can afford and avoid fighting while carrying a full inventory.

Player plots let you store excess gear and build AFK farms. Invest in plot security before storing high-value enchant books.
