Joining Lifesteal SMP

Connect to lifesteal.net in Minecraft Java. You spawn with 10 hearts (20 HP) and must survive in a hardcore-flavored SMP where PvP is always on.

Read the rules immediately — killing players steals one of their hearts permanently. Losing all hearts results in a ban (or temporary ban depending on season rules). This is not a casual survival server.

Heart Stealing Mechanics

When you kill a player, you gain one of their hearts (up to a 20-heart cap). When you die to a player, you lose a heart. Dying to mobs or environment does not steal hearts, but you still lose items.

Hearts can sometimes be crafted or traded using rare items — check the current season's recipe on the Lifesteal SMP wiki or Discord. Protecting your heart count is your top priority.

Early Game Strategy

Rush iron gear within your first hour. Build a hidden base far from spawn — coordinates are often leaked and spawn camping is common. Never log out in the open.

Farm food, villagers, and enchantments before engaging in PvP. Players with full diamond prot and sharpness will destroy iron-geared beginners. Play passive until you're geared.

Base Security

Build underground at Y-levels that are hard to find. Use obsidian, water buckets, and hidden entrances. Stash backup gear in separate locations so one raid doesn't wipe you.

Consider building a trap base or an escape tunnel system. Many top players use chunk-ban exploits awareness — build across multiple chunks so one trap doesn't lock you out entirely.

Alliances and Teams

Solo play is extremely difficult on Lifesteal SMP. Form alliances with trusted players for mutual defense, shared farms, and coordinated raids.

Be careful — betrayal is common. Don't share your base coordinates with new allies until they've proven trustworthy over multiple sessions. Use alt accounts for scouting if allowed by rules.

PvP Combat Tips

Crystal PvP, anchor PvP, and traditional sword combat are all viable depending on the season's meta. Practice in the Lifesteal SMP PvP arena or on practice servers before risking hearts.

Carry totems, golden apples, and pearls in PvP. Ender chests let you store valuables securely — prioritize getting one early.

Trading and Economy

Player trading is the backbone of the Lifesteal SMP economy. Trade hearts, gear, and rare items at spawn trading halls or through Discord middlemen.

Scamming may be allowed depending on server rules — always use trusted middlemen for high-value trades. Check the auction house or community marketplaces for fair prices.

Seasons and Resets

Lifesteal SMP runs seasonal resets where all progress wipes and everyone starts fresh. Seasons typically last several months with escalating drama and wars.
