Join The Hive on Bedrock — Treasure Wars, BedWars, SkyWars, Deathrun, and how to play without paying for Hive+.

How to Join The Hive

The Hive is a Featured Server on Minecraft Bedrock. Open Play → Servers and tap The Hive — you do not need to type an IP.

If your device allows a manual address, use geo.hivebedrock.network. Prefer a region: ca.hivebedrock.network (North America), fr.hivebedrock.network (Europe), or sg.hivebedrock.network (Asia). Java Edition cannot join.

Hub, Friends, and Game Menu

You spawn in a hive-themed hub. Use the game selector (hotbar compass or NPC) to queue. /friend add helps you party up; /settings toggles cosmetics, chat, and lobby extras.

Create a free playhive.com account and link it if you want web stats and longer friend lists. You can play every public mode without an account.

Treasure Wars

Treasure Wars is The Hive's signature island PvP mode. Protect your team's treasure generator, loot islands, and shut down enemy generators so they cannot respawn well.

Rush adjacent islands early with blocks and a pick. Mid diamonds swing longer games. Call generator upgrades in party chat — a fed generator beats a solo hero play.

BedWars and SkyWars

Hive BedWars follows the familiar bed-break format with Bedrock combat and Hive-specific shop items. Speed-bridge, break the bed, then rotate — do not chase a respawning player while another team mid-controls.

SkyWars is faster: loot your island, decide whether to mid-rush or third-party, and track who still has a kit advantage. Both modes have casual and more competitive queues — start casual until bridging feels automatic.

Deathrun, Gravity, Hide and Seek

Deathrun is a parkour gauntlet with player-triggered traps. Learn the first two rooms before you worry about winning.

Gravity is a falling-block survival mode — spatial awareness beats raw PvP. Hide and Seek is the social warmup: learn the current map's props and stay off obvious sight lines. These modes farm daily quests when PvP queues feel sweaty.

Quests, XP, and Ranks

Daily quests are the free progression loop. Finish the easy six before you buy XP boosters. Hive+ raises the daily quest cap and adds a 50% XP boost; Ultimate goes to 75% and unlocks extra hub tools.

You do not need a rank to compete. Buy Hive+ only if you already play daily and want the QoL. Use /store in-game — never a third-party "free Hive+" page.

Bedrock-Specific Tips

Enable split controls or adjust sneak if you play touch. On controller, rebind sneak so bridging does not drop you in the void.

Play during your region's evening for the fastest queues. If geo routing feels wrong, force ca/fr/sg. Check playhive.com updates for map rotations and seasonal sales — we do not list expired coupon-site codes.
